Advance Appliance Ltd. Terms and Conditions

These terms govern all services provided by Advance Appliance Ltd. including appliance repair, installation, parts handling, service scheduling, and warranty conditions. By allowing a technician to begin work, you agree to all outlined terms.

I. Estimates

All estimates are valid for 7 days. Any customer payment (deposit, parts, labor) indicates acceptance of the quoted estimate and our full Terms and Conditions.

II. Appointments

Service appointments are scheduled between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. A 3-hour time window will be assigned and confirmed by email and phone. Visit our Tech Tracking and Job Status pages to monitor your appointment. Appointment changes are not guaranteed during the service day. Technicians are not responsible for delays due to job complexity or additional issues.

III. Service Call Fee

The Service Call Fee is a non-refundable charge that covers the technician’s travel time and initial diagnostic assessment of your appliance. This fee is always applicable and is not waived under any circumstances, regardless of whether you proceed with the repair or not.

The service call fee is charged per appliance and forms part of the total cost when a repair is completed. It helps ensure timely service delivery, technician availability, and accurate diagnostics at your location.

The service call fee still applies in the following situations:

  • The issue is caused by external factors (e.g., plumbing, electrical supply, venting, or installation errors)
  • No problem is found or the appliance is working upon arrival
  • The customer chooses not to proceed with the repair after diagnosis
  • The job is too complex or requires parts not available on-site and a follow-up visit is needed

Exact service call rates may vary by location and will be confirmed by our customer service team prior to dispatch. For questions, please contact us at 587-882-3225.

IV. Repair Cost

Repair costs include parts, labor, shipping, and handling. Flat rates are available for standard jobs. Additional conditions may change pricing, such as stacked units, sealed system repairs, and combo washer-dryer units. A new estimate will be provided if changes are required.

V. Cancellations

No cancellations are allowed on same-day appointments. Once a same-day appointment is booked and confirmed, it cannot be cancelled for any reason. If a customer cancels or attempts to cancel a same-day appointment after booking and confirmation, a booking fee equivalent to the service call fee will be charged. For all other appointments, same-day cancellations must be made via phone call only. Missed appointments without notice will incur a full diagnostic/service call fee. Emails, texts, or voicemails will not be accepted for cancellations.

VI. Completed Repair

Payment in full or signing the acceptance form signifies a completed job. No refunds will be issued for completed or ongoing services once the repair has been approved and started.

VII. Liability Release

Customers release Advance Appliance Ltd. and its staff from any liabilities resulting from service-related damages.

VIII. Customer Responsibilities

If payment remains outstanding for 90 days or more, the account will be forwarded to a third-party collection agency. All collection-related fees will be the responsibility of the customer.

X. Installation Charges

Appliance installation charges exclude modifications, disposal, or regulatory compliance. Additional labor may apply if extra help or parts are required. Service call fees will apply if installation is halted due to site issues.
